CWL's Spring Plant Pickup

Pickup: May 3rd 11am - 1 pm & 4-6 pm

May 4th 9 am - 1 pm

Pick up time is on your receipt. Use lower side door off 73rd Ave, near Chapel.

Coffee Shop: On May 4th after 8:30 am & 10 am after Masses.

Rosary Group welcomes everyone. Especially youth and young adults. Every Tuesday after 7:30 pm Mass in the Church followed by social sometimes. Bring prayer intentions and friends!

Nominations are accepted for PEC, applications before May 15th, see bulletin board for details.

St. Anthony of Padua School Registration

Admissions for Grades K to 7 are now being taken. More details at school website or call 604-261-4043 to talk to Mrs. Kraemer.

Our Lady of Fatima Statue is being looked after by Jean & Terrence Scully. The statue is available for a week at a time (Sunday to Sunday) and picked up and dropped off in the vestibule after 11:30 an Mass. If you would like to have the statue in your home, please call Jean or Terry at 604-261-6275 to arrange a date

Attention Parishioners! Use 2008 Donation Envelopes

To ensure you receive credit for your donations, discard past year envelopes and use 2008 envelopes. If you have not received one for 2008, contact Parish office.

2007 Income Tax Receipts are available for pickup at the vestibule.

Coffee Shop: There will be a coffee shop and bake sale hosted by the Catholic Women's League (CWL) in the Church basement on 1st Sunday of each month after the 8:30 am and 10 am Masses. All parishioners are warmly invited to drop in to share coffee and fellowship.

St. Anthony's Preschool Registration Application will be available soon for the new school year 2008/9. We offer a variety of programs for 3 and 4 year old children that foster intellectual, creative and spiritual growth. For more info. pl contact Miss Azevedo and or Miss Mawhinney at 604-261-4043. Attention ALL Parishioners: We are in the process of updating our parish records. If you have a change of address or telephone number, please notify the Parish office 604-266-6131 during office hours. If you would like to register kindly fill out a parish registration form which is available in the Church vestibule and drop it in to the collection basket.

Adoration Chapel: Our Parish is blessed to have an Adoration Chapel. In reverence, we need two individuals to be in adoration at all times. We are looking for people to volunteer to make One Holy Hour a week with the Lord in our chapel. If you are interested , call 604 266-1353. Someone will be in touch with you. A commitment of one hour per week is required for you to be a part of this ministry of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, reposed.

Padre Pio spent many hours daily talking to God and listening to God talked to him through internal internal illuminations. He said it really did not matter if we talk to God all the time because it is only when we are quiet that God talks to us. Now I ask you where is it quiet enough for God to talk to you? You can come to the adoration chapel and in the peacefulness there he will speak to your heart, and you will return eagerly because he has so much to share with you. There are hours available but you can choose your own hour of convenience any day or night, call 604-266-1353.
